Raipur, April 1 -- Indian women's football team full-back Kiran Pisda has expressed determination that the 'Blue Tigresses' have what it takes to qualify for the women's World Cup that will be played in Brazil in 2027.
Speaking to UNI on the sidelines of the ongoing Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 being played in Chhattisgarh, the 24-year-old, said: "World Cup qualifying is our aim and AFC qualification was the first step towards that. The team has immense self-belief and unity. We will work hard, and we can do it."Neither of India's senior teams - men's or women's have ever qualified for the World Cup.
