Dharamshala, April 28 -- In view of the proposed visit of the President of India Dropadi Murmu to Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur on April 30, the District Magistrate of Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, has imposed a temporary ban on all aero sports and aerial activities in Palampur and Baijnath sub-divisions.
The order, issued under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Security Code, prohibits activities such as paragliding, drone flying and hot air ballooning from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on April 30, 2026.
