Kollam, July 19 -- Advocate K.B. Sreekumar was elected President and Advocate Boris Paul Secretary of the Kollam Bar Association after the newly elected Director Board convened its first meeting following the Association's elections.
The elections saw the AILU-IAL panel, supported by Left-backed lawyers' organisations, register a commanding victory by winning 10 of the 11 seats on the 11-member Director Board.
Established in 1908, the Kollam Bar Association is among Kerala's oldest and most prominent associations of advocates and is registered as a non-trading, non-profit company under the Companies Act.
