Jammu, Aug. 7 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday urged people to adopt the 'Catch the Rain' campaign and promote rainwater harvesting for non-potable purposes such as gardening and agriculture to conserve water resources.

"Adopt the 'Catch the Rain' campaign and promote rainwater harvesting for gardening, agriculture and other non-potable uses," Abdullah said after laying the foundation stones for two major infrastructure projects worth over Rs 140 crore aimed at strengthening drinking water supply and sewerage management in Udhampur and Reasi districts.
