Hyderabad, May 31 -- Telangana Government Whip Adi Srinivas on Sunday strongly criticised BRS Working President K T Rama Rao for allegedly spreading false propaganda regarding electricity supply to farmers.
Addressing the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Adi Srinivas said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had never stated that three hours of electricity was sufficient for agriculture, as claimed by KTR.
He further alleged that although the BRS had claimed to have provided 24-hour free power during its tenure, farmers actually received only around 12 hours of supply under the previous government led by former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.
