Bhubaneswar, May 23 -- Amid reports of shortages, hoarding, and black marketing of fertilisers, the Odisha government has assured that sufficient quantities are available across the State. Officials maintained that supply remains stable despite ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

In an official statement issued recently, the government said enforcement measures have been strengthened to curb hoarding, illegal diversion, and black marketing of agricultural fertilisers.

The Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment Department stated that Odisha continues to receive monthly allocations of key fertilisers;including urea, DAP, SSP, MOP, and complex fertilisers from the Centre. The supply position has remained smooth up to the end of M...
