Ranchi, Feb. 22 -- Chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani, visited the revered Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand, on Sunday and performed traditional ritual worship.
Upon arrival at the temple premises, Adani was first taken to the administrative building where his ancestral priest Daani Naraune and associates conducted the Sankalp ritual amid Vedic chants.
Under tight security arrangements, he was then escorted to the sanctum sanctorum, where he offered prayers for nearly seven minutes, praying for peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Jharkhand and the country.
