Bhubaneswar, July 30 -- The Adani Group has expressed its keen interest in investing around Rs 1.5 lakh crore in Odisha's clean energy ecosystem, Deputy Chief Minister K V Singh Deo said on Thursday.
Representatives of the Adani Group made a detailed presentation before the Deputy Chief Minister regarding the proposed investment plan aimed at strengthening Odisha's power sector and accelerating the state's transition towards clean energy.
As part of the ambitious initiative, the group has proposed setting up two 3,000 MW nuclear power plants, 2,400 MW Ultra Super Critical (USC) thermal power plants, and Pumped Storage Projects (PSPs) to ensure reliable and low-emission baseload power supply.
