New Delhi, Aug. 26 -- Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) has secured a major power transmission project with an estimated investment of Rs 4,700 crore, aimed at evacuating renewable energy from Karnataka and delivering it to key consumption centres in Maharashtra.
The project was awarded to AESL through the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route, with the company emerging as the lowest bidder.
It will be implemented through a special purpose vehicle, Satara Power Transmission Ltd, and is expected to be completed within 36 months.
The transmission system is also expected to strengthen the infrastructure supporting pumped storage projects in and around Satara, Pune and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), areas that are emerging as ...
