Adani Agrifresh raises apple procurement rates in Himachal by 12.5 per cent

Shimla, Aug. 27 -- In a move aimed at supporting apple growers in Himachal Pradesh, Adani Agrifresh Limited (AAFL) has announced a revision of procurement rates for the current season. The new rates, effective from yesterday, reflect a 12.5 percent increase compared to last year.

According to the revised schedule, premium grade Shimla Royal apples with 80 to 100 per cent colour will fetch between Rs 45 to Rs 90 per kg, depending on size, while supreme grade apples (60 to 80 per cent color) will be procured at Rs 30 to Rs 70 per kg.
