Chennai, June 14 -- Faced with massive exodus following successive poll defeats, the AIADMK suffered yet another setback with popular actress and Party Deputy Propoganda Secretary Gautami Tadimalla on Sunday quit the party to focus on social work.
Gautami, who had joined the AIADMK on February 14, 2024 after a long stint spanning over 25 years with the BJP, ended her two year stint today by resigning from the party and from the post of Deputy Propoganda Secretary.
In a letter sent to the AIADMK high command, she said with a heavy heart she was resigning from the primary membership of the party and also from the party post in view of the current political situation and to focus more on social service.
