Pune, June 14 -- The Pune District and Sessions Court has granted temporary anticipatory bail till June 23 to the accused in an alleged rape case in the light of similar orders passed by higher courts in matters involving consensual love relationships.
The complaint states that the complainant woman and the accused had been in a love relationship for around three years. According to the complaint, the accused allegedly took her to various places on the promise of marriage, established physical relations with her against her wishes, and threatened to commit suicide if she refused to marry him.
The complaint was registered at Manjari police station here recentlly.
