Hyderabad, April 17 -- An Assistant Divisional Engineer (ADE) posted at Devarakonda in Nalgonda district was caught red-handed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000.
According to an ACB release on Friday, on Thursday, the ACB Nalgonda Range unit trapped the official when he demanded and accepted the bribe from a complainant for processing and forwarding a bill worth Rs 10 lakh. The bill pertained to electrical works undertaken for the restoration of a damaged 33/11 kV power line affected during a storm on October 29, 2025.
