Kolhapur, Oct. 11 -- Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials arrested late tonight night an employee and a peon of Herle Grampanchayat office in Hatkanangale tehsil of this district for accepting bribe of Rs 20,000 for approval of a pending 'Gharkul' installment of the complainant.
Arrested persons were identified as Rahul Sahdev Nimbalkar (36), an employee, and Suraj Jingonda Patil, a peon, working at Herle Grampanchayat office in Hatkanangale tehsil of this district.
In a ACB press release late this night, suspected accused employee Rahul Nimbalkar demanded Rs 25,000 bribe from the complainant for approval of pending 'Gharkul' installments from seniors.
