Kolhapur, June 1 -- Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials today arrested an administrative officer of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation's (KMC) Primary Education Committee, for accepting bribe of Rs 25,000 for releasing the salary difference and arrears of a complainant teacher.
The arrested person was identified as Dagdu Chandrapa Kumbhar (52), an administrative officer of Primary Education Committee department of KMC, resident of city's Vashi Naka area.
In an official press release of ACB, the complainant, who is a primary teacher and transferred to KMC's school, applied to the primary education department for release of the differences in his salary and salary arrears.
