Sindhudurg, June 6 -- : The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Ratnagiri, has intensified its probe into the assets of former MLA and Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) Shiv Sena leader Vaibhav Naik.
The investigative agency has issued a formal communication to the Kankavli Nagar Panchayat, seeking detailed documentation regarding specific commercial properties purchased by Naik.
The ACB inquiry is centered on the purchase of two commercial shop units in Kankavli, acquired by Naik in 2002 and 2006. The investigative authorities are currently verifying the legal status of these acquisitions, specifically whether the units are registered as a single consolidated asset or two independent properties.
