Srinagar, Aug. 17 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday filed a chargesheet against 10 accused, including seven officials of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) and three private individuals, in connection with an alleged illegal construction case in Srinagar.
According to an ACB statement, the chargesheet in an FIR of Police Station ACB Srinagar registered in 2023 was presented before the Court of the Special Judge, Anti-Corruption, Srinagar.
The case was registered under provisions of the J&K Prevention of Corruption Act, the Ranbir Penal Code, the Roshni (Repeal) Act and the Evacuees (Administration of Property) Act.
