Kolkata, Aug. 28 -- Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee today said his party would not allow the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll by the Election Commission of India (ECI) in West Bengal and warned if the poll panel attempted it, the party would take 10 lakh people to the national capital as a protest.

Addressing a rally to mark the Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad's 28th foundation year at the Meyo Road near Esplanade, Banerjee said the party was facing existential threat from the union government, BJP, courts of laws, media, top poll panel, the ED and CBI.
