New Delhi, June 27 -- India opener Abhishek Sharma admitted the team failed to adapt quickly enough to the challenging conditions in Belfast after suffering [about] historic 34-run defeat to Ireland in the opening T20I, but credited the hosts for outplaying the visitors in allthree departments.
India slumped to their first-ever defeat against Ireland despite Abhishek's explosive 50 off just20 balls. The left-hander felt the pitch and ground dimensions made stroke-making difficult, and Ireland executed their plans far better.
