New Delhi, July 20 -- Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke ended his hunger strike on Monday morning at the request of social activist and education reformer Sonam Wangchuk, who remains hospitalised, before joining thousands of supporters in a march from Jantar Mantar towards Parliament demanding the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities.
The development came as the Centre initiated dialogue with the CJP, with party representatives leaving to meet union Health Minister J P Nadda after the government reached out for discussions over the ongoing student-led agitation.
