Los Angeles, June 26 -- Academy Award-winning screenwriter and playwright Aaron Sorkin is returning to the world of tech giants and ethical quandaries with "The Social Network Part II", a cinematic follow-up to the acclaimed 2010 film chronicling the turbulent genesis of Facebook.

The new film, currently in development at Sony Pictures, will not only revisit Mark Zuckerberg's empire, it will shine a light on the platform's more controversial chapters, reports VARIETY.
