New Delhi, March 8 -- AAP on Sunday said that its student wing, the Association of Students for Alternative Politics (ASAP), will present Rs 2,500 to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on International Women's Day.

The AAP has said they Delhi Government didn't do anything to keep the promise of a monthly payment to women. The AAP said that the amount was collected from the public in Connaught Place over the weekend.

AAP Delhi unit president Saurabh Bharadwaj said the money was collected through begging and will be handed over to the Chief Minister as a symbolic gesture to remind her of the Rs 2,500 promised to women starting March 8, 2025.
