Chandigarh, May 5 -- The Bathinda police have registered a criminal case against Hartej Bhullar, the social media in-charge for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Bathinda Rural constituency, following allegations of harassment.

Bhullar is accused of sending offensive and objectionable messages to a widowed employee working at the Bathinda Civil Hospital. The registration of the FIR comes after several months of sustained pressure from various social organizations and activists.
