Chandigarh, March 31 -- The Mohali police have arrested a prominent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Rakesh Kumar Soman, alias Rocky, in connection with a multi-crore rupee real estate fraud.
Soman, a real estate businessman with a significant political background, is accused of swindling over Rs 13 crore from another developer by leveraging his political influence and issuing death threats. The police have also booked Soman's wife, Baljeet Kaur, and an associate, Bikram Suri, in the case.
