Neeraj BaliChandigarh, Sept. 19 -- Punjab's ruling Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday launched its campaign for the 2027 assembly election, with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann saying the party would seek another term on the strength of its government's record rather than rely on fresh promises.

Mann released the party's election pamphlet at a workers' meeting at an indoor stadium on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana, ahead of a month-long door-to-door campaign beginning on Sunday.

AAP said 268,553 booth committee members would take part in the outreach covering 25,332 polling booths across Punjab. Mann will begin the door-to-door drive from his Dhuri assembly constituency on Sept. 20.
