New Delhi, April 15 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday raised allegations linking its Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid at the residence of party MP Ashok Mittal in Punjab.
Addressing the media, AAP's national media in-charge Anurag Dhanda said the party had received inputs suggesting that the ED action followed a recent meeting between Chadha and senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He alleged that the raid could be part of the BJP's preparations for the upcoming elections in Punjab. Dhanda also questioned the timing of the Centre granting Z security to Chadha, calling it more than a coincidence.
