New Delhi, July 30 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday accused the BJP-led Delhi government of attempting to evade accountability by omitting the Question Hour from the upcoming Delhi Assembly session scheduled from August 7 to 11.
The Opposition demanded that the Assembly Speaker ensure the inclusion of a Question Hour, saying the legislature's primary role was to hold the government accountable.
Addressing a press conference, AAP Legislature Party Chief Whip Sanjeev Jha alleged that this would be the second consecutive Assembly session without a Question Hour and questioned the purpose of convening the House in its absence.
