New Delhi, March 4 -- The Airports Authority of India (AAI) on Wednesday denied reports claiming that it had sought details regarding Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) stock positions at international airports in view of the prevailing geopolitical situation in West Asia.

In an official statement, the AAI clarified that it has neither formally nor informally asked any airport operator to furnish information about fuel inventories or projected fuel requirements.

The authority described such reports as "false and factually incorrect," dismissing suggestions that it had initiated any communication concerning ATF stocks.
