Kolkata, April 22 -- Amidst the election atmosphere in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee while addressing his first public meeting in Jorasanko, Kolkata.

He claimed that the BJP's "saffron flag" will fly high in the state when the election results are announced on May 4.

A large number of supporters arrived at the meeting carrying posters that said, "Yogi ji, bring the bulldozer, we are with you." The UP Chief Minister said that the BJP is poised to win nearly 80 per cent of the seats in the first phase of voting on April 23, and that a wave of change is clearly visible in the state.
