Puducherry, March 16 -- A day after the schedule was announced, filing of nomination for the April 9 Assembly single phase elections to the Territorial Assembly in Puducherry to fill 30 seats began on Monday.
So far no candidates have filed their papers till noon.
The last date for filing of nominations was March 23 and the scrutiny would take place the next day. The last date for withdrawals is March 26 and polling would be held on April nine. The counting of votes would take place ln May four and the entire poll process would be completed on May six.
