Hyderabad, Nov. 11 -- Polling is underway in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency by-election in a peaceful atmosphere on Tuesday. Voting is being conducted across 407 polling stations in the constituency.
According to the District Election Officer (DEO), a voter turnout of 9.2 per cent was recorded till 0900 hours.
GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer RV Karnan monitored the polling arrangements and surroundings through aerial surveillance using drones. This marks the first time in the country that all polling stations in a constituency are being monitored simultaneously through drone technology.
