Hyderabad, July 21 -- K. L. Narayana, a retired Additional Secretary to the Government, won four gold medals in the Annual Masters Swimming Championship organised by the Hyderabad District Swimming Association at the Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Indoor Stadium (GHMC) Swimming Pool in Ameerpet recently.
The championship featured swimmers across age categories ranging from 25-29 years to 80 years and above.
Competing in the 80-84 years category, the 81-year-old Narayana participated in four events and clinched gold medals in each of them.
He secured top honours in the 25-metre freestyle, 25-metre breaststroke, 25-metre backstroke and 50-metre freestyle events.
