New Delhi, June 23 -- : Seventy-five Indian students have secured one of Europe's most coveted scholarships, the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) programme, placing India among the top three recipient countries for 2026 intake.
The latest awards also reinforce India's long-standing dominance in the programme, with the country having produced the largest number of Erasmus Mundus scholarship recipients over the past 22 years.
The announcement was made during an event organised in New Delhi on Monday, hosting the departing Indian students.
Under the programme, the selected students will get an opportunity to study at leading universities in 15 European countries, including France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Poland, ...
