Dharamshala, Aug. 6 -- As many as 746 orphaned, destitute, abandoned and neglected children in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district benefited under the Chief Minister Sukh Ashray Yojana during the last financial year, with the Women and Child Development Department spending Rs 7.33 crore through various welfare schemes and programmes.
This was revealed by Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa on Wednesday. while chairing a review meeting of the department's schemes at the Deputy Commissioner's office.
