Bhiwandi, June 26 -- In a deeply disturbing case, a 7-year-old minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in the Kasheli area of Bhiwandi taluka recently.
According to police, the victim was playing with her brother near her house when the accused lured her with snacks and took her to his flat, where the assault took place.
Upon receiving information, Narapoli Police acted swiftly and arrested the accused, who was attempting to flee from the spot. The girl was rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Sub-District Hospital for medical treatment. Hospital authorities said her condition is stable and she is under observation.
