Agra, Nov. 21 -- A 65-year-old woman was brutally murdered with a spade handle inside an animal shed in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning, police said.
Rajan Devi, a resident of Kudoul Dauki village, was allegedly attacked in the Late Vaidya Latoori Singh Dhakre Memorial Gate (animal shed), where she had gone to prepare cow-dung cakes.
The alleged attacker, Chhotu, according to his family, was addicted to intoxicants.
Chhotu, who was already present there, reportedly noticed the gold chain and earrings she was wearing and attempted to snatch them.
