Nahan, Nov. 21 -- In an unfortunate incident, 60 cattle were burned alive and two cows were severely scorched after a man's cowshed at Khadi village in the Shillai assembly constituency of Sirmaur district in Himachal Pradesh was engulfed in a massive fire.

The incident occurred late last night at around 2 a.m. when two cowsheds located a short distance from Layak Ram's home in Khadi village.

The fire spread so rapidly that both cowsheds, made of wood and sheets, were completely engulfed in flames. After Layak Ram informed the local administration about the incident, officials inspected the site.
