Dona Paola (Goa), June 21 -- The 5th Asia Cup Bridge Championship got of to a colourful start with about three hundred players from sixteen Asia-Oceanic countries participating in this seven day quadrennial event at the Horizon of Taj Cedade here on Sunday.
Patron of the Indian Bridge fraternity and noted industrialist H M Bangur declared the meet open in presence of President of Bridge Federation of India (BFI) Prasad Keni and various other delegates from World Bridge Federation, bridge playing countries of Asia-Oceanic nations and othe rBFI officials .
Speaking on the occasion BFI President Prasad Keni welcomed all the players and the delegates attending this important event would be very keenly contested.
