Dharamshala, May 3 -- A total of 58 candidates have filed their nomination papers for the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation Elections-2026 from various wards, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mohit Ratna said on Saturday.
Providing details, the SDM stated that nominations were filed by candidates from different political parties as well as Independents on April 29, April 30, and May 2, 2026, across multiple wards.
In Ward-1 (Forsythganj), Himanshi (Congress) filed her nomination on April 30, while Rekha Devi (BJP) submitted her papers on May 2. In Ward-2 (Bhagsunag), Omkar Chand (Independent), Shamsher Singh (BJP), and Ashok Kumar (Congress) filed nominations on May 2.
