Lucknow, June 5 -- Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on Friday honoured 51 distinguished artists selected with Sangeet Natak Academy Awards for the years 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 for their remarkable contributions, outstanding creativity, dedication, and significant role in preserving and promoting cultural heritage in the fields of music, dance, drama, and folk arts.
Organized by the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Academy at Jan Bhawan, the ceremony particularly highlighted the artists' invaluable contributions to the preservation and promotion of the state's rich cultural traditions, folk arts, and Indian artistic values.
