Panchkula, June 24 -- In what could bring relief to thousands of property owners frustrated by delays in updating land records, Haryana has rolled out a new digital system under which property registration and mutation will move together on a single platform.

The reform comes after the successful processing of nearly 50,000 mutation cases in Panchkula district and during the pilot phase.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Tuesday launched the Auto Mutation System and Paperless Registration 2.0, describing it as a major step towards transparent, citizen-friendly and technology-driven governance.
