48-hr silence period in Koridang after campaigning closes on Apr 7
Dimapur (Nagaland) April 5 (UNI) A mandatory 48-hour silence period will begin at 28-Koridang assembly constituency, which falls under Mokokchung district, after the campaigning for the by-election in the constituency ends at 4 p.m. on April 7.Mokokchung DC and district magistrate Ajit Kumar Verma, in an order, said all forms of public campaigning and movement of non-voters will be prohibited during the final 48 hours leading up to polling.The order also banned public meetings, rallies and processions after the deadline, and prohibited the display of election-related material through electronic media, including television and similar devices.It further barred any form of campaign-related activity through entertainment such as musical concer...
