New Delhi, March 30 -- Delhi Police have arrested a 47-year-old man from Mysuru, Karnataka, for allegedly sending more than 1,100 fake bomb threat messages targeting schools, High Courts, and government offices across the country.

The arrest came after a coordinated operation between Delhi Police and local police teams on Thursday, with the suspect, Srinivas Louis, being taken into custody from his rented residence.

In recent weeks, several institutions, including the Delhi High Court, Delhi Assembly, and numerous educational and government establishments, had received bomb threats, prompting an urgent investigation.
