Ganesh Kumar has alleged that 43 members of a single family were given jobs in various institutions under the Nair Service Society (NSS) and launched a scathing attack on NSS General Secretary G. Sukumaran Nair, accusing the organisation's leadership of nepotism, corruption, financial irregularities and authoritarianism.
Speaking at the release of the book 'Devadaruvile Ithilkannikal' (Parasitic Vines on the Cedar), organised by the Nair Protection Samithi here, he alleged that the organisation founded by Mannath Padmanabhan had been "hijacked by a few parasites" and turned into a private family fiefdom.
