Hyderabad, April 10 -- In a major setback to the CPI (Maoist), 42 Maoist cadres, including a PLGA Battalion Commander, surrendered along with 36 firearms before the Telangana Police on Friday, further intensifying the recent wave of surrenders by the banned outfit.
The latest surrender comes in continuation of the recent surrender of senior CPI (Maoist) leaders and 139 cadres who had earlier laid down arms along with 124 firearms.
Those who surrendered on Friday include People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) Battalion Commander and Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) member Sidin Malla alias Keshal alias Nikhil, Chapa Narayana alias Gajendar alias Madhu, State Committee Member (SCM) and JMMWP DVC Secretary, and Kadthi Sannu al...
