Panchkula, Sept. 8 -- Haryana Police have intensified their crackdown on traffic violations in Gurugram, challaning 416 vehicles fitted with illegal black film and imposing penalties totalling Rs 41.60 lakh during a special month-long enforcement drive, while also impounding a scooter found with 62 pending challans amounting to Rs 2.17 lakh.
According to a Haryana Police spokesperson, Gurugram Traffic Police conducted the special drive against vehicles violating black film regulations from August 1 to August 31, 2026. A total of 416 vehicles fitted with illegal black film were challaned during the campaign, with fines amounting to Rs 41.60 lakh imposed.
