Hardoi, Feb. 28 -- A joint team of the district administration and police conducted a raid at an Ayurvedic company located in the Industrial Area on Circular Road in Hardoi, officials confirmed on Saturday. During the operation, officials seized approximately 40 quintals of cannabis from a truck parked inside the company premises. The firm was reportedly licensed to store only 15 quintals.
The action created a stir in the area. According to City Magistrate Sushil Kumar, the raid was carried out based on a tip-off on Friday.
