Chandigarh, June 26 -- A total of 4,74,540 candidates have registered for the Haryana Staff Selection Commission's (HSSC) Common Eligibility Test (CET)-Group D within a week of the application process opening, with over 285,000 applicants completing the final submission of their forms, the commission said on Friday.
The CET-Group D serves as the common eligibility examination for recruitment to Class IV posts across Haryana government departments, boards, corporations and other state-run organisations. The vacancies include peon, office attendant, watchman, helper, lab attendant, animal attendant, library attendant and other Group D positions.
