New Delhi, Sept. 11 -- The two-day BRICS Bharat Innovates (BBI) Exposition, showcasing India's deep-tech innovations and startups, began at Bharat Mandapam as part of the 18th BRICS Summit being hosted under India's chairship.

Organised by the union Ministry of Education in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, the exposition is being held on September 11-12 alongside the BRICS Business Forum and the Leaders' Summit scheduled for September 12-13.

As many as 37 Indian deep-tech startups and ventures are participating in the exposition. They are part of the original cohort of 120 startups and ventures that participated in the maiden Bharat Innovates programme held in Nice, France, in June.
