Patna, April 9 -- Bihar's rural connectivity drive has brought a major transformation in the lives of people living in remote areas, with the construction of over 34,900 km of all-weather roads under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sampark Yojana.

Official sources said here on Thursday that the sustained efforts by the Rural Works Department to ensure safe, seamless, and round-the-clock connectivity in villages are now yielding visible results on the ground. The expansion of paved roads to far-flung habitations has eased decades-old challenges faced by rural communities.
